The Better Business Bureau says it investigates thousands of scams every year, "from the latest gimmicks to schemes as old as the hills." Those investigations have produced the BBB's Top Ten Scams of 2011.

SANTA FE - The New Mexico Legislature spent more than $233,000 on impeachment proceedings for former Public Regulation Commissioner Jerome Block Jr. last year and former state Treasurer Robert Vigil in 2005. Both of them resigned before the Legislature could vote on impeachment.
